Service Description: This application shows the location of all dams in the Division of Water Resources, Dam Safety Programs database. The Division of Water Resources, Dam Safety Program, regulates Class I, II, and III dams (that are not federally-owned) and generally has current information about these dams. Smaller dams that are exempt from our jurisdiction have been included if information is available. The ODNR, Dam Safety Program database information is constantly changing; however, this application is not an active link to the Dam Safety Programs database. The data used in this application is a snap shot in time of our database and is only updated periodically. These data are derived from multiple sources and the locational quality may be varied. Location and parcel boundaries may require additional research and/or professional surveying to achieve desired accuracy. ODNR does not warrant these data and claims no liability regarding accuracy or damage caused by its use or misuse.
