The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) – Lake Erie Shoreline Digital Ortho/LiDAR Project - In the Spring of 2023, the ODNR obtained new orthoimagery covering aproximatly 485 square miles of the Lake Erie Shoreline, including a 500-foot buffer zone outside the project boundary. Imagery was collected with Leica ADS100 Airborne Digital Sensor. Products produced were uncompressed 4-band, 8-bit orthophotos with a 6-inch ground sample distance (GSD). The orthos are delivered as a countywide dataset, consisting of 2,500' x 2,500' GeoTIFF files. The file naming convention is as follows: anxxxxyyyy (Ohio North Zone); Please note that xxxx and yyyy represent the easting and northing coordinates (respectively) in Ohio State Plane North, NAD83 HARN, US Survey feet. Each GeoTIFF ortho file is approximately 100 megabytes in size. Additional deliverables include countywide Multi resolution Seamless Image Database - MrSID (RGB - 20x and 100x; CIR - 20x and 100x) tile index provided as ESRI shapefile. All data produced and delivered to the ODNR under this agreement will also be provided to the State of Ohio Department of Information Technology at no additional cost. |
